Senator and Para Swimming Star planning to reunite at Nuit Blanche!

Five-time Paralympian and Team Canada’s Chef de Mission for the Rio Paralympic Games Senator Chantal Petitclerc will join Paralympic swimming sensation Aurélie Rivard to celebrate "the year that was" with Canada’s sport community December 8, 2016 at the Brookstreet Hotel.

Rivard, Canada’s closing ceremony flag bearer, is looking forward to meeting the people who work in the sport system behind the scenes. "It sounds like a great event and a fun way to close out the year. I’m looking forward to attending and re-living a successful summer in Rio de Janeiro with Aurélie and my sport friends and colleagues” commented Senator Petitclerc.

For those yet to confirm their tickets, VIA Rail Canada is offering a special November promotion. Beginning today, every ticket purchased will be entered into a weekly draw to win a $250 VIA travel voucher. The $1,000 VIA promotion will run for 4 weeks through to November 25th.  Those who purchased early bird tickets will also be eligible for the VIA draw. Tickets are closing in on 75% sold out.
