Ontario Trillium Foundation Workshops

Thanks to a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation,  the CSTA brought sport event, tourism and economic development experts together with community officials to share their knowledge and experiences and to provide training on the CSTA’s leading-edge industry tools. The program featured the following components:

• Sport Tourism Workshops
• Economic Impact Workshops
• Sport Events Marketplace Exchanges (Ontario-specific)

These interactive workshops were designed to build capacity at the local level and help communities become more actively involved in the sport tourism industry. These one-day sessions are designed for groups in the respective regions of Ontario.
